Pink Friday is a nationwide event celebrating and supporting small and local businesses. It’s held annually on the Friday before Black Friday, encouraging shoppers to discover and shop from small retailers first during the holiday season.
Pink Friday emphasizes the value of community and encourages shoppers to invest in the vibrancy and diversity of their local economies before shopping with big box retailers.
Step 1: Find a Boutique
Use our map and directory to locate participating stores in your area and beyond.
Step 2: Plan Your Shopping
Check the store’s social media and website for updates on special deals and promotions.
Step 3: Share Your Experience
Join the community by sharing your finds and experiences on social media using #SupportSmallFirst.
If you spend $1 in a local community, studies show it turns an average of 7x before leaving.
Small businesses - Pay local taxes, employ local families, spend money with local businesses, accountants, attorneys, supply stores, etc, they donate to local causes and sports teams, and small businesses generate local and state sales tax revenue which also builds local communities. YOUR $1 has impact. Does Shein, Temu or Amazon do the same?
